We would love an immaculately manicured lawn. But unless you have a full time gardener, it's not going to happen. And if you have kids or pets, forget it.

HOW WE INSTALL ARTIFICIAL GRASS

STEP 1.
Remove existing grass usually using a turf cutter, or digger.
​
STEP 2.
Edge the area where required. All sorts of edging can be used, such as sleepers, concrete, slabs and timber.

STEP 3.
Dig out area to required depth of approximately 30cm depending on ground conditions. This will include our base material and granular sub base below the grass.

STEP 4.
Landscape fabric is then installed over the entire are and pinned into position.
​
STEP 5.
Then we roughly position the grass and roll it out over the area.
​
STEP 6.
Grass has to settle for an hour or two while it acclimatises.
​
STEP 7.
Cut the edges in against the edging ensuring it sits into the recess between the edging and the base. We then glue or nail the grass into any relevant edging if required.

STEP 8.
Brush up the pile to stimulate it.
​
STEP 9.
Lastly, we infill the grass with either dried kiln or Sharpe sand to keep pile stimulated and add extra stability to the product.
