WHY CHOOSE NATURAL DECKING?

VERSITILE.

SUSTAINABLE.

CREATE PERFECT ENTERTAINMENT AREAS FOR YOU AND YOUR VISITORS.

CHEAPER THAN COMPOSITE AND MOST PAVING.

EASY TO CREATE RAISED AREAS THAN MOST OTHER MATERIALS.
NATURAL DECKING

A perfect companion to a natural garden design. This softer approach to paving is very versatile and a cheaper option if installed with softwood materials.

Alongside softwood decking is hardwood. A more expensive decking solution that will last longer than its counterpart.
HOW WE INSTALL DECKING

STEP 1.
Remove existing grass usually using a turf cutter, or digger.

STEP 2.
Install subframe using 4 or 6 inch timber joists at a maximum of 600mm apart.

STEP 3.
Secure subframe and joists with 4 inch timber posts concreted in to the ground for stability and longevity.

STEP 4.
Install cross members, or 'noggins' between joists to help stop any warping or twisting in the timbers.

STEP 5.
Now lay the deck boards using proper decking screws to help prevent any cracking. Making sure to leave sufficient gap between each board for expansion and water run off.

STEP 6.
Install any frame edging.

STEP 7.
Treat the pre pressure treated timber using a clear or coloured stain.
